Strong Password Creation - Random Passphrase

If your children have a smartphone, it's probably connected with an email account or a social media account to allow such functionalities as the PlayStore or AppStore. Do this activity to create a strong password for the email account connected to that device.                                                                        

STEP 1: Grab a dictionary.                                                                                                                                             

STEP 2: Have your children open it on a random page and choose one word. Write it down on a piece of paper. Do this at least 5 more times.                      

STEP 3: Once you have all your words, brainstorm along with your child to think of a short story (2-3 sentences) to help you memorize the words and their sequence.                                                        

STEP 4: Work together with your child to draw a picture that tells the story of the passphrase.                              

NOTE: Try not to change the order of words when making your story. Remember, the more random the better!
