Practice sharing your child' s device
Control your child's device by enabling Family Sharing features in both Android and iOS.
Refer to the instructions in your handouts and install Google Family Link; this allows parents to view their child’s smartphone activity, manage the applications they can download and use, set screen time limits, lock their device, and even track their location. Do this exercise from your computer and then on your Android smartphone or tablet and observe any differences.
If you have an Apple device, try Family Sharing. When you set it up, everyone in the group you define will get immediate access to the content purchased by family members who choose to share them (for example, movies, TV shows, books, songs and apps). Practice setting Screen Time on your child's device. Practice Restrictions: (1) go to settings and select General; (2) Turn on Restrictions; (3) Set a passcode; (4) Scroll through the restrictions and control what the child can do on his or her phone.
